FAQs

You'll need your base account number. Usually, it's 5 or 6 digits. To find your base account number, remove the 8 and 0's from the beginning of your account number as it appears on your checks. You'll also need to remove the last digit.

Example: 800123456 appears on your checks. Remove the 8 and 0's and the last digit. Your base account number would therefore be 12345.

BAM is a security feature UMCU will utilize to verify your member identity when calling the Contact Center. BAM uses your face ID or fingerprint to allow access to the Mobile App.

A UMCU Representative may ask you to allow for a push notification to be sent to your smart device during a call or secure message exchange.

You may need to re-add your biometric information if you cleared your cache or got a new phone. To enable BAM, click here to view our instruction PDF.

There are several things you can do to regain access to your account. First, try using a different browser on your mobile device. If that doesn't work, try using our Mobile App instead of a browser. If you cannot access your account, please call our Contact Center at 800-968-8628 and a team member will assist you.
